GPS portable road dyno - presentation and
comparison with chassis dyno

Dynomet v4.11 (Win98-7) is a portable
dynamometer, developed to measure the effect
of engines of cars and trucks. It measures
the engine effect "on the road", in the
car's normal operational environment,
utilizing the natural physical laws. It is
developed to enable dealers and repair shops
and individuals to perform the tests in a
simple and efficient manner. Dynomet v.411
is very accurate when given the right
conditions and operated according to
instructions.
Dynomet is portable.
The Dynomet standard set consists of the
following components:

- wheel disc
with optical sensor,
- controller,
- 5 x 21mm clamps,
- 5 x 19mm clamps,
- 5 x 17mm clamps,
- USB cable,
- software (Win XP, Vista, 7, 32 and
64 bit),
- aluminium case.
An
assortment of accessories are
available - as well as a Truck
version.
The
measuring disc is, preferably,
mounted on a non driving wheel.

- power and torque,
- any acceleration (0-100 km/h, 0-160 km/h,
80-120 km/h itd.),
- 1/4 mile time and speed,
- braking distance.
